From Our Pasture to Your Plate
Introduction There’s something special about knowing where your food comes from. Not just the farm name on a label or the “free-range” stamp on a
Our farming practices include free-range methods with less than 750 birds per hectare, chemical-free farming techniques, and unique meat-free supplementary feed.
It’s our foundational promise. “Chemical-free” means we do not use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers on our pastures. Our chickens are never given antibiotics or growth hormones. We proactively manage their health and the land’s health through natural practices: rotating pastures to break parasite cycles, providing a diverse, natural diet through forage, and using supplements like oregano or garlic for immune support. Our approach is about creating a resilient, natural system where chemicals are unnecessary.
Legally, “free-range” can simply mean birds have some degree of access to the outdoors. For us, it’s the core of our philosophy. Our birds spend their days on spacious, rotated pastures with access to fresh air, sunshine, and a natural diet of grasses, seeds, and insects. Their coops are mobile or provide a large, open-air space. We focus on “pasture density”—the number of birds per acre—to ensure they have ample room to express their natural behaviors like scratching, dust-bathing, and foraging, which is essential for their well-being and the quality of the meat and eggs.
Our pricing reflects the true cost of ethical, sustainable farming. We invest significantly more in land (for low-density grazing), time (our birds grow at a natural pace, not an accelerated one), and labor (daily moving of flocks, monitoring health naturally). We also use more expensive, chemical-free feed supplements and often incur higher processing costs by using small, humane facilities. You are paying for superior animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and a nutrient-dense, flavorful product. It’s an investment in quality, transparency, and a better food system.
With increased fuel costs, we are currently adding a levy to the customer invoice. Where possible the unit cost does include delivery.
Prevention is our best medicine. We focus on the pillars of natural health:
Low Stress: Ample space and a natural environment minimize stress, a key factor in disease.
Strong Immunity: A diverse, natural diet and clean living conditions build robust immune systems.
Pasture Rotation: Moving birds to fresh ground regularly prevents the buildup of pathogens and parasites in the soil.
Breed Selection: We choose hardy, slow-growing breeds suited for outdoor life.
Our pastures have no chemical sprays applied.

We sell eggs raised with care for every customer.

Every egg reflects our commitment to natural farming, animal welfare and PIRSA accredited.

We build trust through honest service and fresh poultry that exceeds expectations.

Enjoy farm-fresh deliveries safe, fast and reliable.
